The Suzuki Burgman is unique; it is the only maxi-scooter in the world. Now Suzuki has launched the Burgman Street 125 in the Nepalese market, the baby Burgman doesn’t have any real rivals, in the sense that this is the only maxi-scooter in the country. However, the price point the Burgman is playing at already has some key players, namely TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Grazia, Suzuki Access 125 and Aprilia SR125 that this maxi scooter needs to consider.
Design & Features:
Suzuki Burgman Street 125:
Let’s start off with the design of each of these scooters and then move into specifications. The design is where the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 differentiates itself from all its competition. Carrying the typical Burgman design language the Street is elaborately styled and features unique front-end, thanks to its large apron and windscreen.
The handlebar is uniquely designed, the seat is wide and the floorboard is extended to offer a relaxed riding post with a pronounced step between the rider and pillion pads. The Burgman Street 125 comes loaded with features. It gets a plethora of features like the LED headlight and position lights, fully digital meter, body mount windscreen, front disc, and combined brake, LED rear combination light, sporty muffler cover, 21.5L under seat storage and USB charger, amongst many others.
TVS Ntorq 125:
Moving over to the TVS Ntorq 125, it features a sharp, tucked in design that attracts a lot of young buyers. The sporty styling features a raked-out front apron and the rear is flanked by afterburner styled vents to make it look cool.
TVS says the Ntorq 125 comes loaded with 30 cutting-edge features. There is an all-digital LCD instrument console which offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, daytime running lamp, 12-inch alloy wheels with a front disc brake, an LED taillight, and mobile charging unit, etc.
Honda Grazia:
The Honda Grazia has a clean design that the scooter carries gracefully. The perfectly aligned panels and the use of textures make it look sharp. The Grazia has a beak like front and angular body panels for a modern look. Also, it features a segment first all-LED headlamp unit.
Some of the salient features on the Honda Grazia include LED headlamp, front disc brake, front glove box with mobile charging socket, telescopic front suspension, 18L under seat storage, alloy wheels with disc brake, and fully digital meter with eco speed indicator, etc.
Suzuki Access 125:
Suzuki’s own Access 125, on the other hand, looks like a conventional scooter that doesn’t have any drama but is as clean as they come. It features a retro-cool trapezoidal headlight and chrome highlighting to make for a beautiful package.
The equipment list on the Access 125 includes alloy wheel and disc brake, combined brake, digital meter, one push central lock system, large storage space, and aluminum grab rail, etc.
Aprilia SR125:
The Aprilia SR125 carries the sporty look with authority with its tall design and edgy stance and aggressive graphics. It features a short and sleek rear section that oozes sportiness. The contemporary scooter comes with features like basic analog instrument cluster and conventional lighting all around.
